PRINCIPLES OF PUBLISHING

  1. The Congress is opened of the participation of all legal branches.
  2. All the presentation sent to the Congress would be assessed by a judge and the accepted presentation would be announced
  3. The participants are accepted to present their presentation orally within 20 minutes.
  4. The abstracts’ of the presentations accepted to be presented during the Congress would be published in the Presentations’ Abstracts Book whereas the full texts’ of the presentations in the Book to be published by an international publishing house.
  5. The abstracts of the papers should be at least 250; maximum 700 words. The abstracts and the abstract’s of the full texts should include an English abstract as well. Full text and abstract’s abstract should include five (5) key words.
  6. Full text and abstract should include the writer’s title, full name and surname, institution information, contact details and ORCID -ID (if any)

WRITING RULES

  1. Writers should include at the beginning of their papers their titles, institutions, phone numbers, e-mail address and address.
  2. Papers should be written in Times New Roman; main text in 11 font size, foot note 9 font size; main text in 1.5 space, foot note 1 space. Main text should not be more than 50 pages.
  3.  Papers could be written in Turkish, English, German and French. Full text should include an abstract of at least 250; maximum 700 words written in Turkish and the main language of the text. Furthermore, 5 to 15 key words should also be added to the abstracts.
  4. The title of the paper should be bold and capital letter. The name of the writer should be added just after the title, flushed right including an asterisk just after his/her surname. The footnote of the asterisk should include the writer’s institution’s information, his/her title, e-mail address and ORCID-ID (if any).
  5. Introduction / Conclusion / Remark and Bibliography should be bold and in capital letter without including any number. The titles in the text should be organized as follows:

  • Full text should not include an abbreviation list and a table of contents
  • The references should be given at the end of each page by a footnote. First reference should include the full descriptive information.
    • References to be given to the Books:
      • Books with a sole writer: Name and Surname of the writer; Name of the Book (Published Place, Publishing House, Publishing Year) and page number. Following references to the same book should include the Surname of the writer, the Abbreviated Name of the Book and page number. Exp: Fikret Eren, Borçlar Hukuku Genel Hükümler, (İstanbul: Yetkin Yayınları, 2010), 178.

  1. Books with multiple writers: Name and Surname of the writers; Name of the Book (Published Place, Publishing House, Publishing Year) and page number. Following references to the same book should include the Surname of the writers, the Abbreviated Name of the Book and page number. Exp: Bahtiyar Akyılmaz; Murat Sezginer ve Cemil Kaya, Türk İdare Hukuku (Ankara: Savaş Kitabevi, 2021), 222.

  1. Books with Editors: Name and Surname of the Editor; Editor; Name of the Book (Published Place, Publishing House, Publishing Year) and page number. Following references to the same book should include the Surname of the Editor, the Abbreviated Name of the Book and page number. Exp: Richmond Lattimore, editör, The Iliad of Homer (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1951), 91–92.

  • Reference to be given to the articles (essays) should include Name and Surname of the writer; “Name of the Article”, Name of the Journal, Volume of the Journal, Number of the Journal (Year information if any) and page number. Following references to the same article should include the Surname of the writer, the Abbreviated Name of the Article (if needed) and page number. Exp: First reference: Merih Öden, “Anayasa Mahkemesi ve Olağanüstü Hal ve Sıkıyönetim Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerinin Anayasaya Uygunluğunun Yargısal Denetimi,” AÜHFD 58, S.3 (2009): 659-691.

  • Full texts should include a bibliography alphabetically ordered in accordance with the surnames of the writers at the end.
  • In case of the reference of more than one source in the footnote; these should be spaced by semicolons.
